Rebecca Justus (she/her) has over a decade of experience working with leaders and organizations across the United States and globally to advance racial and gender equity and human rights.

She is a Certified Holistically Engaging in Anti-Racist Transformation™ (HEARTspeak) Facilitator with Full Circle Strategies and she previously served on Georgetown University’s Racial Equity Learning Community’s Wisdom Council and Spaces & Places for Advocacy & Racial-Justice Knowledge Committee.

Rebecca currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for EcoWomen. She holds an MA in Human Rights from the University of Sussex and a BA in International Relations from Boston University.

Rebecca is also the creator of Reproductive Autonomy, a website that provides reliable, trustworthy information to enable all people to make informed reproductive decisions for themselves and to advocate for and support others in their reproductive decisions.

Originally from the U.S., she has traveled to over 60 countries and has lived in Albania, Australia, Côte d’Ivoire, France, Italy, Senegal, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Uganda, and the United Kingdom. She currently resides in New Zealand.

Rebecca speaks proficient French, conversational Italian, and basic Spanish.

It’s not a box you check or an award you receive, and there is no date of completion. That isn’t meant to be overwhelming, it just means that it becomes a part of your life. It becomes part of the way you see, understand, and respond to the world.
